Parent/Player Meeting
This is really dangerous - Greg set me up as an author (I use that term very lightly....) to be able to do this, so we'll se how it goes.....
The Parent/Player Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2009 @ 7pm. The meeting will be at GHS in the Faculty Dining Room located in the hallway behind the cafeteria.
Can you believe it?????? One month from today at this time, we'll be getting ready for our 1st game. Hopefully, our players will not be lost and/or sunburned by this time then. I'll probably be my ornery self; Ben will be getting nervous by now since he's going game one; Anthony will be being Anthony.......

Optional Excursions During Our Trip
1). Zip Line Canopy Tours $169.50/person - Click here
This trip would be by far the most adventurous undertaking. All day commitment.
2). Snorkeling Day Trip ~ $100/person
Option 1 - Click here
Option 2 - Click here
Two possible options for snorkeling. Both require transportation to Fajardo on the far east coast of Puerto Rico (a 45 minute drive). This is where the beautiful reefs exist in Puerto Rico.
3). Hike the rain forest ~ $35 - $50/person
I have connected with a local guide who can really make this a special trip. I feel it is a must do excursion during our time in Puerto Rico. Time commitment is ~5 hours with little travel time.
Everyone needs to bring a day pack to carry water and food for a semi-strenuous activity.
El Yunque National Forest, formerly known as the Caribbean National Forest is located in the rugged Sierra de Luquillo, 40 km southeast of San Juan. Its gets it's name from an Indian spirit Yuquiye, which means "Forest of Clouds". It is the only tropical forest in the United States National Forest System.
4). Snorkeling, Beach and Lagoon Exploration (by Kayak) ~ $100/person
For the truly adventurous, we offer the 3 in 1 Adventure. No less than 5 hours of total eco-experience, including open water kayaking, laid-back beachcombing, 2 snorkeling stops, kayaking the “Laguna Prieta” entering by mangroove canal, fording a peninsula, coming out the other side back to Seven Seas beach! Not for the faint hearted!
5). Bike to Old San Juan -
the would be a 7 mile, one way, bike trip from the hotel to downtown Old San Juan.
This trip would be by far the most adventurous undertaking. All day commitment.
